Anyone with the upraded stereo? How's it sounding?

Hey now, A3 upgraded stereos only.
Just kidding. Too bad the deal prevented you from getting into an A3. But at the same time, the B7 A4 isn't a Buick either, so you came out a winner anyway.
As far as the Bose is concerned, I remember when I had my B6 Avant with Symphony and my brother-in-law had his B6 sedan with Bose. I tell you, side by side, they sound exactly the same. The ONLY difference is the volume setting needed to achieve the amount of sound you wanted.
On my non-Bose, for example, I had the volume set at 14 to achieve the same sound as his Bose radio's 9 or 10. If we kept them at those settings, I know I couldn't tell the difference between the two.

The avant has the advantage of a sub doesn't it?
I know it makes a big difference in sound between our Bose S4 and Bose allroad. Of course the cabins are different in the two cars as well.

Hmm, I tought the sedan also had the sub, but I didn't check.
I'm sure the interior acoustics are different from sedan to Avant, but my non-audiophile ears couldn't tell the difference.

Both have a Sub...in the Bose Pkg it is bigger....the sound is good for both...the main diffrence
is the fact that the Bose has richer sound, and the Symphony you can tell is TRYING to make music at a certain level and clarity. If you listen to music at 15 or above its a night and day diffrence, the tightness of the base etc...
I would say the current Symphony system for the B7 and A3 is on par with the Bose system of the B6. However the new Bose system on the B7 is a marked improvement.
