I thought the A3 might fit my criteria... I'm located in NY and would be approved for a transfer as I have leased with Audi before...

https://forums.audiworld.com/other/msgs/8123021.phtml</a

Default Re: What about a short term buy instead?

...only thing you're probably out is tax and a little depreciation.

Default Thanks to sketchy residuals, A3 leases have hovered around $450+tax or more for 36 months

plus driveoffs.

Default Or go the other direction....1/3 to 1/2 down on $32K purchase upfront, then keep the car until

you get tired of it?

Default My '07 A3 lease is $410/mo (after tax). 36 mo/$1k down.

I paid over invoice, but bought it during a short-lived lease special on A3's last April

Default residual on an A3 is much worse. My A4 lease is almost identical to yours

but when I was looking to lease an A3 it was closer to $700/month. They have *some* lease deals now but you can't get past the residual.

I bought my A3 with money down to get it a nice number.
