Does any APR ecu upgrade (chip) work with an 150 hp 1.8T A3?
Or can it be made to work?
I'm asking this because I would like very much the EMCS programming for my car, so APR would be my best choice.
But since the A3 is not sold in the USA, they don't have it listed in their page.

I spoke to APR about this several months ago, and they are willing to attempt this as the A3 is basically a Golf MkIV however you will need to consider the ins and outs of having to ship your £1000 ECU to the states and back!

That would not be a problem.
I live in Mexico, so I can easily send the ECU or take it to the USA myself.
But I just sent a email to APR and they told me that they won't do anything for the a3 since it's not sold in USA.


Guess GIAC is my other option....
