Hi,
I'm experiencing an intermittent problem starting my 2004 Audi A3 2.0 FSI. It sometimes seems to stall when going to turn over the ignition, but eventually turns over and starts, but when started the instruments on the dashboard are delayed in appearing. Eventually the various symbols come on but the clock is reset to 0:00 each time. It's as if i'd taken the battery out and put it back in again. When this happens i do tend to see two symbols come on. One is a red steering wheel and the other i'm not sure about. I'll take a pic when it next happens.
Any thoughts people?

I'm having the same problem, on same car. I took car to have a battery health check, but they could not test it as there was 'battery noise' i.e something was draining the battery, when the ignition was off. But there are no aftermarket parts added to my car.

Have the battery load tested.
