Audi Care is a prepaid maintenance program. In lay man terms, an oil change at 15K,25K,35K,45K miles. Plus some other basic items. You don't have to purchase it at time of delivery but have to purchase before 15K miles. (I think).

Are you going to service your car at the dealership? If so, even at the full price of 750 you're paying way less than the services individually. Especially if you have S-Tronic or Quattro I would recommend getting Audi Care... Just the services of the Haldex and the tranny alone are over 750.

if you got a fwd with manual transmission, that might be the only main thing they will change. But with DSG&Quattro, those oil and filter gets changed at 35k. Those are considered, as you called, "fluids", but cost much more than oil changes.
They do also change the brake fluid, along with air filter, cabin filter, etc.

We'll be finally picking up our A3 quattro on thursday. Today, i spoke to the business manager over the phone regarding the final details or the "back end" as they call it. He tried selling me the audicare and something called "term care". I said yes to the audicare. Basically, for us, we're leasing the car for 39 months and it's being built into the payments for us. All in all, over the life of the lease, audicare will cost us $599.82. I didn't think that was too bad. Scheduled maintanance for 39 months? Not bad. Now he was trying to get me on something called "term care". As he described it, it was for items like brakes, hoses, lights, fuses etc... except for tires. For our 39 months, bundled with audicare, this would be about 900. I didn't elect this. Is this a wise decision? Here are some factors... It is my wife's a3 which will be daily driven, mostly on highway. What do you think?
