Default AUDI ARE MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE WITH THE NEW A3

Why is there no option of the 1.8T engine derivative? This is the motor with a cult following. And it won't lose huge power like the 2.0 FSI at altitude. In Johannesburg the altitude equates to a loss of 17% power in normally aspirated engines. The 2.0 FSI will then put out only 91Kw and 166Nm.

Where is the 1.8T??? Have they removed it because Audi fans have been chipping the engine for much higher outputs?

I agree. But chipping may not be the reason b/c new A4 has the same engine.
