Default LOL!!! The dealer hates it too. They know they can only get better via constructive

criticism, yet this survey does not allow for that. So I suggest that unless you wish to burn bridges, keep the surveys cheery, but if you have any thoughts or minor troubles, air them to the management directly.

Absolutely! People pass along kudos far less often than complaints

Default last time they hit me up for positive feedback i let them have it

talked to the service manager about how sleazy that is for a dealer of there level. he gave me the same line of BS that you would expect about how they get rewards and bonuses based on those surveys and blah blah blah. i told him that they had a good dealership and the the good feedback would come regardless. more bull**** came out of his mouth.

i think a better way to approach it would be to inform the customer that those surveys are very important to the dealership and ask if there is anything that they have done that would give you reason to leave average or negative feedback and then try and correct any problems that arose. but it seems like all they want to do is tell you that they NEED positive feedback.

<end rant>

Default Re: Sadly the survey is not meant to solicit honest answers, since it is strictly for marketing

Wondering why the auto industry continues to pay to have surveys done when they know they're bogus..
(last time, I told the surveyor that I couldn't answer any of the questions because the dealer made a (sleazy) attempt influence my answers. They haven't called me since.

The only ones who benefit from this are the survey companies who run these scams..
