Auto-Remote-Starter for A3. Has anyone ever heard of one being installed?
I tried it back in 2006, my installer friend had a few kits that were supposed to be VAG-friendly. But he said this car will need it's own kit. Can't use a generic kit. The wiring was too involved.
He is looking into finding a kit again. But I'm asking around on the forums, hoping somebody has tackled this. I searched already and didn't find anything.

all of the safeties (clutch/transmission) along with interfacing with the CAN-BUS system would appear to make a remote starter very difficult to implement.

I think 2 wire for the canbus and the adapter has output for lock,unlock,horn, domelight and stuff like that. Im just not sure if the old immobiler bypass module work fr the new a3...
