3 factors, Dropped, 235 width tires and 2MM. all combined = Rubbing. You could make these work,

I really wanted a set of these S4 DTM 25Quattro wheels. I think they would've looked great on the A3; kinda OZ Superturismo GT, but more OEM.

Now just waiting for the delivery of my CH's.

I could get 225s and coilovers to get some added ride height.

i wonder if there's a way to machine down the back of a wheel in order to raise its offset

Default IIRC, Hartmann was doing that to make 18" ET45 RS6 reps...
but the center caps were popping out. Oops!
