Default Back to NAV and MP3s

So all those 13,000+songs I have in my mac imprted using AAC encoder are useless to me in regrds to playing in this car. I'd have to reburn a separate iTunes section via MP3s . Correct?

Default I understand the upcoming Audi iPod hookup cannot...

be used if we have the cd changer in the glove box like most of us have. Is that true? It is coming this summer.

There is bound to be a work-around.

Default Did the April/ V tour this week!

I am a native San Franciscan but I did the April mini tour this past week in my new A3. After driving allroads for almost 5 years (I loved those cars) I wanted a smaller car. Most of my driving is in the City so I downsized. BOY how quick it is. Anyway did the Fort Pont thing under the GG Bridge to the Legion of Honor and most of the April Hot Spots from your visual tour. Yor are Lava and I'm in black. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful this city is (as if I need any reminders). And it is a great place to drive this car with all of the hills and curves (The Presidio).

iTunes does have a feature (under Advanced) to convert songs to MP3. You will lose some sound quality, but it'll be quick and easy to do. I haven't tried it yet, but I will soon, because I am in the same boat as you.

Default agreed....

the quality is far superior, but only now is everyone jumping on the bandwagon, so it'll take a while before it's a universal medium.
