I've never gotten a loaner from a VW dealer. Who did you used to go to?

But that was several years ago, and they are yet another service dept I cannot recommend. The loaner was about the only positive aspect.

I found their selection of A3s using Autotrader and contacted them by email. I dealt with the sales manager, Brian Farrington, who was very helpful in answering my questions and made sure the car was ready for me to test drive when I made the hike down there.

There was a no-haggle internet price which, based on my research, was quite good. They arranged for a decent financing deal (within 0.25% of the best I could find) and the delivery process was very smooth.

If they have the car you want, and don't mind taking a drive, I'd definitely recommend dealing with them.

As has been mentioned they have a terrible attitude as though they are doing you a favor to service your car. They would always make trying to get a loaner car a hassle, promise a loaner then try to charge you for a rental car when you got there, never call when the car is done, most service trips required a 2nd trip to fix the problem again, argue with you that the problem is not a warranty item over the phone while making the appointment...

I could go on...but suffice it to say we have not been back there in a long time.

I'll not do business with them again!
