Default bi-xenon question

So, the normal xenon (non-bi, straight, heterosexual, whatever) lamps have a projector housing which sits next to the traditional reflector lamp (hi-beam). As I understand it, the bi-xenon lamps use the same bulb for both hi- and low-beam. So what happens to the other reflector enclosure? Is it gone? Is there still a halogen bulb in it? Is it used for a hi-beam supplement, or daytime running lights, or what? For that matter, does the A3 have daytime lights?

thanks

Default

The other bulb and housing is still there and unchanged - used for quick flashing.

Default To add to that...

<i>"For that matter, does the A3 have daytime lights?"</i>

If you are in Canada, yes. It uses the Fog Lights as daytime lights.
