Picture on Audi's website shows a sliding card drawer instead of the three button knockouts.
If you had magnetic suspension, I'd assume that one of the spaces would be used for that.

garage door controller? I remember seeing a button for that.
mine is with rectangular buttons have the cardholder on the other side (though I use it for coins), reckon it's the cupholder for america bound cars.

funny ;-) Could care less about the cup holder, I hold Audi interiors to a higher standard
then to have a large area of the dash consumed by fake buttons. One here or there is ok but three in a row...

1. forward missile launch (for traffic)
2. passenger eject (requires OpenSky)
3. rear oil slick (for cops)
Those are extra though.
