just installed the blitzsafe adapter that connects to ipod via dock connector for line out and charge. ipod is controlled via ipod itself (didn't want to go icelink or dice). sounds great! i pulled the cable through the center console and am resting the ipod in the space in front of the ashtray. note to others: the clips on the back of this tray are very fragile and WILL break if you are not careful. i don't mind, as it now gives me a bit of space through which to bring the cable, and the tray looks the same from the front. ordered part from enfigcarstereo (great customer service) and installation instructions were very clear.
