Bluetooth??
ordered my A3 last wk,
Ocean Blue, DSG, Navi+, Sports Pkg, Cold weather Pkg and Convi Pkg...
now i just got a quick question about bluetooth, bluetooth is another option?? or its come with the navi + pkg?? need sum help on this..thanks alot

Re: I was told today it depends on build week, but it should come on all the cars...
mines the same delivery time with urs
dealer told me will be here by end of June

In fact its an issue that Audi is having right now, becuase sinc it slipped out about Bluetooth, everyone is saying wait to build mine until this week, and we are causing a clog in the pipleline and then all the sudden an influx of cars. Audi is even considering moving up the Bluetooth date though nothing is confirmed.
Right now when you placed your order just let the dealer know you want it after Week 22 and Bluetooth, shouldnt be an issue.

Does anybody know how BT will "look" in the A3?

Or will this be a dealer only option when the A3 has the factory BT phone prep? Any info on which phones are supported or for which phone adapters will be available?

I highly doubt it will have a phone holder like that.
Its supose to been wireless, portless, seemless technology between the car and phone.
The phone is in your pocket, it rings, the volume on the car stero mutes....The contact and number comes up on the Nav system ( it wont if you dont have it), you accept the call, and then just speak in the air, and they voice comes through the speakers.

Officially Audi does not allow the use of mobile phones...
inside the car if there is not external antenna connected to it. So, even when getting BT, you will still need to connect it to the external antenna via adapter (which provides power to charge it too). I have yet to see an Audi BT set which doesn't include some kind of mount. For the European A4 you can get either the ugly one on the dashboard or a hidden one inside the center arm rest. But the arm rest is not an option for the European A3, that's why I was wondering if there is anything else planned for the US A3.
