Hi all. I have a 2007 2.0T with nav and bluetooth. My iphone connects to the head unit and if can make / receive calls. Once the call picks up, I can hear the caller over my speakers but they cannot hear anything. The same thing happens on both my 3GS and my wife's 3G iphones. Wondering if this might be something stupid like the mic going dead or being disconnected.
I figured I'd start by checking the mic connection to the bluetooth module. Can anyone tell me where the BT module's factory location is as well as the same for the mic. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have an answer but if I ever wanted iphone---bluetooth--RNS questions answered I would go over to http://www.audiforum.us/ and post there.
Excellent nav and electronics forum for this stuff.

Finally!!! I pulled open the overhead light assembly and found the microphone tucked away under the trim piece. It's pigtail was pulled out from the piece above. I had to completely remove the light assembly, re-seat the plug section into the assembly then plug the pigtail back in. All is now working fine!
It's great when lack of forum resources make you figure things out yourself
