Body kit - paint problems

Wife has silver A3 1.8T 9/99 with body kit, front/rear bumpers, side skirts and hatchback spoiler. It was going to look odd with the black door bumper trim above the silver side skirts so the dealer agreed to colour code the black trim.
They used the proper flexible paint but reckoned they couldn't bake it on as the trim would distort. Problem is it flakes off quite easily, especially when the door is opened and the trim on the door compresses against the trim on the front wing. Looks really naff.
Has anyone had more success with this?
Paul.

Yes...no problems with the paint on those. As far as I know, my car was in the 'oven' after the bumper trim was painted.
Do you have a few pics of the car? I'm interested how it looks like with the hatchback spoiler.

Haven't got any pics but will try to get some.
The hatchback spoiler is best described as subtle, it's not much bigger than the trim that's there already and just clips over the top of it.
I reckon it looks good. Is it worth 200 quid? I guess it's all relative.
