Brake lights drain battery overnight. Randomly.
One more try to get advice here:
My neighbors tell me my brake lights come on by themselves in the middle of the night most nights.
As a result, my battery is completely dead in the morning when this happens. It's getting more and more frequent. Car is well out of warranty.
Has anyone solved this themselves? I'll pull the fuse at night and if that solves it, I'll figure on replacing the brake light switch.

Okay, three days of pulling the fuse #13, and so far, the battery is not losing charge. If this works for two weeks, I will have isolated the problem to this circuit.
Really? Nobody else is having this problem? I've heard that VW had a service recall over this same problem.

dis you get an answer as my A3 40 TFSIe is doing the same - going into dealership this week as didgital is locked so no Sat nav- cruise control stuck on LIM - no DAB radio option and e-tron assist locked out as well as choice of electric or petrol - so just wondering if and how you got this resolved
