Default Brief report - Euro S Line springs on 2.0T

I got in on the Fourtitude group buy last month, and installed the springs last week. My setup is Koni FSD's, Neuspeed RSB set soft, and the Euro springs.
First surprise is that the springs are thicker and heavier, but 1 1/2" shorter than the US S line springs. Thought I was gonna be in trouble, but the actual drop is only 1/2" at both ends.
The stiffer springs actually improve the ride - they seem to work more in harmony with the FSD valving. I'm pleased with the ride, even with my stiff-sidewalled RE050A's. Firm but plush,
My car now feels more secure and planted, and reacts to small bumps with much less fuss. The car corner's flatter and dives less.
I'm really pleased with this after a week - I haven't experienced the abrupt disconnect that other's report using the Eibachs or other aftermarket springs with FSD's. I did use Euro (shorter) bumpstops.

Sounds like a nice improvement.

Default took mine a full month or so to stop settling on my 3.2

ended up with just a tad under and 1" total in the front and 3/4" in the back.

Default I'm very interested in this mod; that 1/2" drop will be just right for my car. Questions:

1. Where did the group buy get the Euro Springs from?

2. Where did you get the Euro bumpstops from?

3. What was your stock set-up Sport,Premium,or S-Line?

4. Any feedback from anyone with Euro Springs and stock Sport shocks?

Thanks in advance.

Default I'm really liking this setup for my daily route-agressive but sane driving on patchy roads.

The springs and bumpstops came from Vagparts, but you can also get 'em from Rick at oempl.us
My stock setup was S Line, then S Line with Neuspeed bar, then I added the FSD's and lightweight wheels. Now I think I'm done.
Stock S line has too much compression damping, not enough spring. It's pretty jarring on small bumps relative to the amount of suspension control offered; This is much better - what it should have been to begin with.

Maybe it's just my timing, but neither oempl.us nor vagparts lists the Euro bumpstops nor the Euro s-line springs?

Default Call or Email - Our group buy came from Vagparts, but oempl.us had springs ...

last week. Rick said that he'd have to order bumpstops, but it is OK to cut them if you don't want to bother ordering them.

Default What "abrupt disconnect" are you talking about in reference to the Eibach/FSD combo as I am looking.

to get that combo right thar!! I've heard the Eibach/Koni FSD is nice. Besides the Euro or Eibach, what is supposed to be a good spring to go along with the FSDs? Did you get the Euro springs from VagParts? How much are they regularly? How do you order since I couldn't find them? What's the site again?

Default Several owners with the Eibach/FSD combo have reported an odd response to ...

to large bumps and dips - kinda like shock bottoming and/or valving not handling the motion. You might find this by searching archives.
Oempl.us in California should have springs, or certainly can get them for you. Our group buy came from Vagparts in England, about $325 shipped with hardware (new pinch bolts). I forget how mcuh the bumpstops were.

Default Yeah, I've heard the same thing about the Eibach/FSD combo; that's why...

I don't want that much of a drop. The 1/2" drop with Euro Sport springs would be perfect.

I think the Eibach springs would drop my car too much thereby compromising the ride quality.

Thanks for the report, Hesaputz,
