About to order myself a new A3 Sportback. Am looking at 'brilliant red' but am more than a little bothered that this is just another name for 'absolute red'.
A friend of mine owns a car in this colour and it looks like a lifeboat on fire!
I will be gutted if my new pride and joy turns up in this colour.

Anybody shed any light????

Seems like quite an orangey red.

And here's the brilliant red, more of a pure, richer red.
