Can you fit a ~50lb dog in the rear cargo area with the rear seats up?
I haven't had a chance to check an A3 out in person yet, but I was wondering if my shepard-mix, who is a lean & tall 50lbs, would fit OK in the rear cargo area with the rear seats up. Has anybody else transported a dog back there?

Yes, you can - I have taken my 55 lb Australian shepherd several times to the vet
and the kennel - just take the lid off. My dog also likes the fact that she can sit down and look out through the back window.

She's right around 50 lbs and she always rides in there with the seats up. No way those claws are getting on the leather and she is picked up and placed in the boot so as to not scratch paint.
