We now have Carbotech Bobcat pads in stock for all A3 and VW MKV vehicles. These are great aggressive street pads which feature low dusting, long wear and still great performance.
Carbotech Engineering manufactures custom brake pads from our own line of high-performance compounds, which are described in detail below.
All pads are manufactured to FMSI specifications.
BOBCAT
Like our Panther line of compounds, Bobcat is a ceramic based friction material offering practically zero rotor damage. Bobcat offers outstanding performance when cold, very low dusting, and low noise with an excellent initial bite. Friction coefficient is .45 over its operating range of ambient temp to 900F. Bobcat is suitable for street, SCCA Solo 2 and Prosolo applications.

Bobcats have served me well, in all areas outlined above. Mine came directly from Carbotech w no wear sensors. PMS is the place to get them .
