Should I remove Firefox now. And just keep IE? I always loved FF, but thought it was slower than IE.

I hear a lot of complaining about IE, but never run into issues myself. So I'm sticking with IE7 for now. Never liked tabbed browsing or firefox to begin with. I've been using IE7 at home and work since some of the real early betas, no issues for me even back then.
You can install IE7 and use that and FF2 if you want, plus you can uninstall IE7 and go back to IE6 if you'd like.

I've been using FF for years now and have been using IE7 in parallel for a few months. Only reason I would consider switching to IE7 would be for those few pages that don't load correctly in FF but do in IE. Other reason I would like to switch is that FF has always been a memory hog compared to IE.
As far as speed between IE7 and FF2, well it's about the same in terms of opening the browsers, but I would give the nod to FF2 in terms of loading web pages. FF2 is still more flexible in how you setup your interface too. (showing various buttons, locations, etc.) FF2 also is superior in terms of the extensions you can get for it. Although there is a mouse gestures extension (add-on I think it's called now) for IE7, there aren't any that I know of for G-mail, weather, ad-block, or some of the other popular ones. Another nice feature FF2 brought to the table was active spelling correction - which is great for forums and such.
As much as I'd like to make the switch to IE7, I'm still in the FF boat and don't plan on jumping ship anytime soon.
