Not sure if things changed. I'll see if I can dig it up.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a3/msgs/46435.phtml">DRG spec post</a></li></ul>

I was looking at the trip average rather than the overall average. Still not a stellar number (22mpg 99% city driving) but it makes much more sense.

DSG chips and holds fine. Most get about 27-28 mpg mixed. S-tronic and DSG the same trannie system, renamed for different models.

I'm always very conscious of the mileage and I just don't think I'm getting great mileage yet. Right now I'm only getting about 460 kms per tank, with mostly short-haul city driving. I'm hoping it will improve as I put more kms on it. I have to say it's been quite a cold winter so far with temps between -20 and -30 for nearly a month.

I currently have a stg3 B5 S4 2.7T and stg3 Golf 1.8T, and can easily see myself doing similar on an A3 2.0T if I were to get one. My thoughts are to replace the Golf with the A3 as my "good gas mileage, FWD, but still fun car". I test drove an ('06) A3 2.0T DSG yesterday and I enjoyed the DSG - I never thought I'd say that about an "automatic", but as I assume most here *know* it's not an automatic
The general American public is a different story.
Anyway, how are DSG's holding up to higher power levels? Chipped 2.0Ts? K04s? Stg3 turbos?
What are the differences between DSG and S-tronic. Is it only who's manufacturing it, or is one better than the other? Higher power handling?
What's the expected MPG in the 2.0T FWD with mixed highway/city driving? Is anyone here as **** as me and have logs I could check out? ie:
<img src="http://ctny.audiworld.com/mark/s4/mileage/s4_golf_graphs/s4_golf_graphs_files/s4_and_golf_miles2_21340_image010.gif">
Anything in general I should look out for when looking at '06/'07/'08 used A3s?
Thanks,

I have an '09 2.0T DSG. I average 26-27 MPG mixed city/highway. Pretty good. I'm happy with the fuel consumption and the DSG.
I agree, the paddles are fun...especially with some S2T shifters..
