Default Convertible problems

Just bought a 2008 convertible it had a number of faults one of them
is the roof doesn't work
On checking found it had leaked all its fluid over the pump and boot
But what i think is previous owner tried to top up the reservoir because the sealing ring was pinched
out of shape
I think this is why the fluid leaked out
Couple of questions
1- How do you fill system which is now empty
2 - on the pump body by the roof pipes there is a single brass slot head screw which has been
slackened
Should this be adjusted or just fully tight
3 - How to bleed system
Thanks

Default Sorted

Brass screw is pressure relief screw to lower roof by hand or raise by hand if motor fails
you have to release or close the locking tabs above header rail with tool
in the boot
On my car i used the roof switch to operate latches
Anti clock wise releases pressure clock wise to tight is normal working position
Filled Reservoir to full mark and reassembled taking care not to pinch rubber seal
Operated roof manually couple of times then tightened Brass screw
Tried pump all fluid went from reservoir disassembled added more fluid
tried again
Roof started to work then stopped
Reservoir empty again
Starting to think there was a leak some where had a look didn't appear to be everything dry
Added more fluid working perfectly
Couple of points
1- Where fluid soaked every where even with spraying motor contacts with switch cleaner (accessible by removing plastic cover )
When motor operates you can see a bit of Vapour Think this is just soaked carbon motor brushes
Dont confuses this with the smell of a motor burning that is an obvious rank smell
2-When you remove motor and invert it some fluid drains back into Reservoir i kept adding small amounts
Ended up with reservoir showing FULL
Recon my car used 2 to 2 reservoirs of fluid in total
