I had this stuff on my Volvo tail lights for 12 years. Never came off, worked great to help blend the upper sections (850 wagon) into the body:

It's multiple pinstriping tape. 5 1/8" lines. Available in many colors.
It's easy to apply to the 3.2's flat lights by just trimming it flush, but for maximum durability, the lights should be removed and the tape wrapped over the edges. I'll do this when I take the bumper cover off to replace the grille & surround in a few weeks.
Result (one side only test):

With the lights on, you can hardly tell the difference. (Lights were off in the close-up shots at the bottom.)

the bumper on the s-line and the standard A3 are different and with that different diffusor's for the lights.
I don't think ECS makes smoked or clear diffusor's yet for the s-line kit.
