Dash material on A3?

Dash material on A3?
I like the looks of the material on the A3 dash, but am wondering what to clean it with. Because it is such a rough surface (unlike the A4), can you still use Lexols vinyl protector on it?

I was reluctant to use anything
for that very reason. just used a MF cloth. But I spilled something......on there. If Vinlylex is applied evenly and buffed w a MF, it looks good, and resists some of the dust collection.
