How long does it normally take for the dealer to run a credit check to get audi loan approval?
We are ordering a 2.0T that is pretty loaded.
Salesman we are dealing with now isnt very responsive (doesnt return messages in a timely manner), does not seem to care about the sale. I understand to him its just a small sale since its an A3, but to us its a huge deal.
I guess were debating switching salesman and possibly dealers. Just want to see what is the norm for your A3 buying experience.
Thanks.

else. BUT if you go somewhere else they will need to run your credit again, and it will lower your FICO.

something where you rating is marginal, they may be shopping around and waiting to hear from banks. That can take a couple of days.
If your salesperson isn't responsive, call the sales manager and tell them that.
Are you paying an insanely low margin on the deal or is this person just lazy?

I know my wifes isnt marginal, its not as good as mine, but its good.
Not sure if its low margin or not. Should I post the car specs and the price 'out the door'? or would that be a bad idea?

what concerns you. It's not unheard of to have them assign a different salesperson if there is a conflict of personalities.

We were dealing with one guy about 3 mos ago when we originally looked. Now that we are ready, we found out he left recently.
I think there are only 3 exp. salesman there now, one we dont like, one we are dealing with now (who we think we dont like, jury is still out), and one we dont know. I am on travel right now, so my wife has left him two messages and spoke to him once (another time she called, since he didnt return the message from that morning).
I can email you the deal and you can tell me how you think it is. I dont think its extrememly low, I think it would be considered average.

If your credit is in the Tier 1+ range (730+), it's instant financing and you should get a decent over-allowance if you need it (130%+).
If you're not dealing with the internet department, the typical salesperson does not like to do business apart from the dealership (they are trained to bring customers in!).
