Default Detailing Gear

Need some advise on setting up detail kit for home. Anyone have any suggestions on equipment that works real well for different applications? (eg. Best soap, best drying towel, etc.)

Find a good wax. Lotsa Zaino freaks out there, and it does work well. My current favorite is the new updated Menzerna products with Klasse products coming in a close second. Then get a car wash soap made by the manufacturer of your wax if possible. A nice lambs wool mitt for washing with a seperate mitt or sponge for the wheels, wheel wells, etc. If you can afford it I hear the boars head brush is real nice. For drying start with a California Water Blade, then go back over the car real quick with a big blue drying towel. Pick up some detail spray to go along with that polish/wax. And apply/remove it with some good microfiber towels.
On the interior used a good mild cleaner and then protect with Aerospace 303. For leather seats use Lexol cleaner and Lexor conditioner to keep the leather like new. Stoners Invisible Glass for the windows inside and out even on tint.

All this and more with lot of great info can be found at www.properautocare.com
It's like a toy store for detail freaks.

That's a good site, and so is carcareonline.com. Good how-to stuff as well.
