Past 10 years, 222 HP Volvo FWD. I'm tired of having to accelerate into traffic SLOWLY in the rain, when trying to move out qhickly just spins the wheels while the through traffic bears down on me.. (Even after I wait for a huge gap in the traffic)
With the 3.2's pseudo-quattro, I can just gas it and go in the rain.
First performance mod: A Haldes performance mudule, when it becomes available for the Gen2.
One other item: No need to choose between sport suspension and convenience items.. I could have it all in the 3.2, (at an insane price), but I saved up my $$$ over the last 10 years and am paying cash.

I had a fun evening test driving a few cars, I started off in a Miata which was amazing...
Then went to the Audi dealer and drove the 2.0T DSG Premium package-non sport first, loved the urge of the engine-it felt quick.
Then jumped into the 3.2 and loved it, the engine was very different, and I loved the feel from the handling, car felt better planted.
But wow it sure is expensive, it would be a long term purchase if I did...
I'll have to think about it for a bit...

...and will be very curious to hear about the experiences of those steely-eyed foorboard mashers who install a VF engineering supercharger, once they get around to developing one for the 3.2Q. A note of caution, though... my understanding is that the Haldex Quattro is really only designed to handle the 250 hp that comes stock. Chip for 8 - 12 hp? Sure. Another 5 or 10 from a Mintex exhaust? Ummmm... yep. 70 or so extra frothing, wild-eyed horses from a supercharger or turbo? Hope you've got a good friend (or beter yet, a close relative) in the parts department.
