Do I need new pads I have just bought some Pagid brake disks
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/47944/pagid_disks.jpg"></center><p>I have just purchased 2 Pagid brake disks. I am wondering if I need to change the stock pads on my A3 1.6SE? If so which ones are recommended. I am thinking of just putting the disks on the front and leaving the rear alone is this okay?

It is normal to replace both at the same time...................................
Personally i would suggest some EBC greenstuffs which I have on my A3T along with EBC discs (Grooved and drilled). As I said in the subject title it is not normal to replace just the disc, as the pads may have debris bedded into them, worn at a strange angle....any number of things which may damage the discs.

You may want to look at Pagid or ATE as well.......
EBC is a favorite, but gets mixed reviews, so maybe you want to try something else. With EBC you have to get rid of the wear sensors.....
