Do some tire stores take trade ins for tires?

I don't think very highly of them on dry roads, so I thought well....maybe they're just more snow-oriented.

They're significantly worse in snow than the ContiExtremeContacts I've used the last couple winters.

because there can be debris stuck in the rubber and shortens the life of the equipement cutting the grooves. People note shorter tire life and increased noise. It will void the tire warranty.
Of course there are people who swear by it.
