Does the A3 handle poorly?

good handling and poor tire traction seems to be the
problem in these road tests- subjectively they seem to like the handling but due to the poor traction of the AS tires the measured handling test scores are low- VERY low - minivan low. I would hope a sport package with upgraded summer tires could do much better.

I simply cannot fathom the concept that the A3s stock 225/45/17 (stock B5 S4 size, BTW) all-seasons are out gunned by a Toyota Camry (which wears 215/60/16 all-seasons).
Also, as mentioned below, we've have seen other mags quoting better numbers in for the A3, but still not very good (in low 0.80s Gs). But that's probably a sport package car - some mags had to have tested a sport package car, right?.
Really like your stable, BTW. What do you think between the M3 & S4? They're a bit overkill for my purposes, but still in consideration.
