I get the windshield wiper thing too, though I always thought it normal as well.
The one that's truly curious to me is that the steering-wheel-mounted stereo controls are somehow wired backwards. As in, when I want to advance a track on the CD player, I have to roll the thumbwheel back. I've since gotten used to it and actually find it an endearing character quirk, but at first I was a bit baffled. Anyone else have this?

You mean because scrolling down with the roller (instead of up) advances to the next track? They do it to match the UI of the Nav+. If you don't have the Nav+, that could probably seem a little strange, yes.

This is normal on all Audis now I guess thios was designed so the wipers would not be damaged as quickly if they are moved. I thought it was weird at first as well, but it is designed that way.

Our 2007 does the same thing it happens every 2 months or so we are now filling up at Shell and we have not had the CEL light come back on since fuelling at SHell kind of strange.
