Actually, the higher loaded A3s sell quicker. It is a luxury car, after all!

Yea but the difference between $25K and $30K is alot less than $32K and $40K in a buyers mind

Plus a base A4 came/comes alot better equipped than a base A3

Default Ads for luxury cars are usually broken down into payments. So the lower you start, the better it
looks. Yeah, I understand your logic, but dealers are just looking for a hook to bring people in. Equipment levels are usually found in the microscopic print at the bottom of the page;-)

This was confirmed by AlexTTQ, who works for an Audi dealership as a salesperson (and an excellent one at that) somewhere in Texas.
