Default The end of DSG/SMG style transmissions.

Ok not really but finally ZeroShift has their site up and a great flash demo on how the system works and its effects on shifting/acceleration. I can't wait to see it introduced to the motorsport scene.

-->ZeroShifts Website<--

Default "a completely instantaneous change in gear ratio with no interruption of torque...

to the driving wheels"

....sounds like DSG to me.....

So I don't have to wait for them to perfect it...it's already been done....

Default looks like they are using a system of locks that jam dog teeth on gears

I dont know what the life expectancy of those locks is... but shifting under load could present wear issues.

Their system might be a lil bit better than DSG, however DSG is already in production cars and has been for years. Theirs might be a hair smoother on the acceleration curve, but is anybody going to really care that much about that small of a difference?

Default dsg looks pretty good in that graph already. also

I wonder how much torque zeroshift's locks can handle. It also looks like it'll be difficult to design 6 gears in that.
