in the last few days. But the second day I had it last week I opened the hood to check out the engine - allover it was soaked with oil. I mean allover. I wrote my dealer but have not heard back(left a message tonight-- kind of forgot to follow up today SO DID HE). I thought it was a fluke - maybe on prepping the car some oil spilled into a fan and splattered allover and that was the end of it. Probably so since it has not returned.
There are no warning lights, car is running and sounding great. No leaks either on the ground.
Just curious for your thoughts I really can't explain it. I saw the car the night before they prepped it and the Engine was dry as could be and the car had been driven 13 miles and was clean at that point soo it happened after or during prep.
It's just weird - I am not overly worried just curious to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!!

This happened with my brother's supra when he was shooting oil out of his BOV. I am not sure what is wrong there. Hope you get it taken care of soon!

no oil no nothing- I have put 350 miles on it since and it's just fine. I will speak with the dealer tomorrow to make extra sure- also will REALLY go through everything I possibly can first thing in the morning to see if I can get any clues or if anything seems off.
Thank you for the thoughts - I will not be letting this go
