Hi, Im new to this forum, but couldnt seem to find a solution to my problem by searching - Correct me if im wrong!
Also im norwegian, so excuse me if the english is not perfect.
Description:Audi A3 1,6litre - 4 cylindre - AKL engine
Whats wrong:
difficult to start when warm, I have to give it alot of gas, and when starting it stutters alot. (basically when warm)
When the car is cold, everything seems fine.
While driving: Car stutters especially in 2nd and 3gear, when passing 2500rpm, Sometimes the rpm max out at 5000rpm
Sometimes the car even "dies" for a second, before getting back to stuttering
Sometimes the car works just fine, without any problems.
Had a diagnosis on the car, which gave the following faults:
Air mass filter
Temprature sensor
Engine speed sensor(G28)
After this, ive changed the temprature sensor - Had little\no effect.
I also changed the air mass filter with a used part - Had little\no effect.
Last, ive changed the engine speed sensor(the one down by the oil filter), and it worked fine for a couple of miles before back to same old ****![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I have also checked the crankshaft pulley timing, and it sits just perfect.
Car was on service couple of months ago, and they changed sparkling plugs and oil.
Im kinda lost now, I had the car to a audi workshop - But they didnt find anything else but the G28 fault - engine speed sensor.
I therefore have some questions: Is it any other sensor that can affect the g28(engine speed sensor) fault?
Any help from anyone will be appreciated. and again, correct me if i double post a problem.
