i had loud noises coming mostly from the back wheels, i knew tires were ok, i had the dealer check things out, and they ended up replacing rear wheel bearings. they even kept the car overnight when it took them a little longer, because they said it wasn't safe to drive.
so, yea, i'd ask the dealer to have things checked out.

and they didn't charge me. While the work was being done I took the opportunity to look at things and get the mechanics impression, (ie, someone other than an Audi person).
Looked fine to me. While his head was up under the front fender, he said, "yeah, looks great to me, sure is clean in here."

Sounds like a bad bearing to me as well. I had a bad bearing in the back right wheel. Made noise no matter what speed I was at. It just got louder at higher speeds.

My 2006 had a bad front wheel bearing. I though it was the cooper tires which looked brand new. Changed to Bridgestone 960's. Then realized it wasn't tires and the dealer fixed the bearing.
The car at any speed is now quieter than my wifes 05 S4 with new Conti's.
