Yep finally I got rid of my A3. Would like to thank members who have helped with advice/answer about problems with A3 that I experienced.

Care to elaborate why you got rid of the car?

He lives about 30 minutes from where I live. he posted a message on this forum to check out the after market video system installation. I came over and helped him install it. That how we know each other.

He recently got his sunshade latch broken. It took 2 weeks or so for order to arrive. We share same concern about parts taking too long to arrive to US and the rise of European dollars causing repair more expensive later on.

Early this week he also got the start problem. It just cranks, not start. Dealer got to update ECU. He seems very disappointed especially he was a lexus owner.

I myself not happy with A3 but I will keep it a few more years before the warranty expire and get out completely of the European products. I think it's not very wise to sell anything less than one year old, but he may have his own good reason.
