Finally got the A3

hehe...I'm not that extreme, my highs are usually off, unless no oncoming traffic...
at that point, my lows, highs and fogs shine all at the same time...light madness in front of me!

I have bright yellow bulbs, and I think it looks cool. Why else?
Personally I can't tell the difference in rainy conditions whether fogs are on or off, and in fog they make about 1% difference to my eyes.
However, they definitely make the car more noticable on the freeway during bad weather, and I've noticed people tend to get out of my way quicker with the yellow fogs on. :-D
I read awhile back that automakers include fog bulbs to fill in the "hole" in-between the front bumper and where halogen lights hit the road, because it gives people a sense of confidence to see the road 2 feet in front of their wheels. Or something.

No, I do care about visibility but find the xenons w/o fogs work
just fine as long as the weather conditions are okay. I'm just saying that there are a lot of people out there that use their foglights more for appearance than anything else. Not implying you are doing so, but some do.
