I just installed a Milltek exhaust earlier today and on my test drive, I noticed that there was a fluttering noise in the front of the car around the intake area.
I can only hear the noise when I let my car "creep" up a couple of feet. If I drive regularly, I don't hear it. I didn't notice it before the exhaust install, but then again, I probably didn't pay attention. I did a check of the exhaust after the install and there were no leaking areas...then again, not sure how an exhaust would affect an area under the hood.
Does anyone else have this problem? Know what might be causing it?
BTW, the exhaust sounds sweet. Very quiet when sitting idle and a nice low growl when driving. Hopefully there is power increase, but I guess I won't find out until I do a dyno. I'll post another tread when I get pictures uploaded.

The upper half goes into the air cleaner box. I have no idea what the flap could be for, other than perhaps a water separator. If this flap is moving, or the cover of the air duct is loose, you might get such a noise. The cover is easily dislodged.

Please let us know what your findings are. You are the first I have heard of purchasing the system. I would like to also, but will not before hearing it first, or at least described. I'd like to know about:
Tone compare with stock at idle and wot
Cruising drone and at what RPM
Raspiness
Power increases if any.
Fit and finish
Misc. comments
Thanks for your feedback.

The outlet of the air duct is split, with the bottom part dumping into the engine compartment. What I thought was a rubber flap is actually the edge of the gasket (#18), which was not installed properly on my 3.2.
