I am about to fit front component speakers. I am unsure whether to hook the tweeters up to the existing tweeter wires or connect them to the woofer wires through the crossover. Any ideas?

The factory fit speakers use an inline capacitor to filter the hi frequencies to the tweeters, they don't have a full blown crossover as such. The cap is near the tweeter (bulge in the cable. I'd use new wiring just to be sure. Also makes it easier to put the old ****e back in when you come to sell.
