Gas Mileage
What's up? Yeah, I took this thing (an A3) for a test drive today. VERY NICE indeed!!!
Are you getting the gas mileage listed on your sticker when your A3 was purchased? Or does it seem like less.
On my old Audi, it was damn close. They are showing 32 on the highway, but I only had a chance to drive it for about 15 minutes so the average was not up there.

Look at earlier posts regarding gas mileage....
I think everyone is having so much fun driving the h3ll out of the A3 that gas mpg is down. By the way if it was a short test drive, I've heard the car feels good at 120mph.

I can coax 33 on the highway. Tank averages have been about 27-28.
I've owned two TDIs and have learned how to maximize mileage (getting about 54 mpg on tank-average). Those habits help me get about 23 mpg on my X5 and easily over 30 on the highway with the A3. I'm amazed at some people's driving habits -- like being unable to moderate speed without slamming on the brakes, wasting energy (unless they're driving a hybrid).
