OK got your attention. The NAV is cool but I finally loaded a bunch of songs from My MAC/iTunes onto an SD card and have music using the first MP3 slot. It is wonderful. The song list comes up on the NAV screen-not quite like my 13,ooo songs on my iPod but great for a quick fix.

You can listen to...
...audio CDs from the changer or dvd drive
...MP3 CDs from the dvd drive
...MP3s from the SD cards (I have two 1Gb SD cards)
...Satellite radio
...Conventional radio
The integration is great -- not only do the songs appear in Nav screen, the titles show up in the instrument cluster too.
Overall, Audi's Nav+ is a phenomenal system. It's entertaining, accurate, fast, intuitive and very well integrated. Pricey, yes, but worth it for me.

First my question. I did not know you could use a 1GB card. Thought 256 was the largest the drive could read. That would be so great. Can you use any size card?
Look, I am 50 and was in the record business during and after college (Cusack charachter in High Fidelity-that was me). I have tons of music- I love every genre and have been loading thousands of songs and CDs into my Mac and backup hard drives. Play it wirelessly via Airport Express to my home stereo. Having all that music allows be to rediscover songs I have not heard in a long time. I also still buy all kinds and load everything into iTunes---no iPod shuiffle for me.
