I had GIAC X in my 2001 S4. I like their programming, and Garrett would stop by the dealer up here too. So my dealer had good support.
I'm a bit disheartened by AWE's exhaust plans tho, and APR's exhaust+chip combo may be a better solution. It's a shame tho, because AWE's parts are really nice. I had AWE downpipes on my B5 S4 and the things were works of art.

So not only concerned about it being loud, but also having it sound like it has a riced-up fart cannon on it.
It sure looks nice tho, and is light... If someone here got one, I'd sure go give it a listen.
On my 2 S4's, the biggest gains were from swapping downpipes, and if AWE doesn't go after that (with custom GIAC programming if needed), then something like APR's solution may be better.
