Haldex based system. You can read on their website about what is involved with the conversion, something like 80 hours of labor and about 14,000 to 16,000 dollars. Apparently not a simple conversion to do. It involves removing part of the floor pan and frame rails and welding in new frame rails and floor pan. Sounds like quite a project.

you have to replace the whole rear floor plan where the spare tire is before you can mount the suspension subframe. Then you have to make sure the electronics don't get screwed up a long the way as the Haldex system needs to get info from ABS and other modules.
You are better off getting a A3 3.2 and if you really want the 2.0T, swap the engine.
