Long time lurker, first time poster. The occasion is the arrival of a silver/black DSG A3 premium. Came from a chipped(+ some other stuff)Jetta 1.8T which was the most fun car I've ever had. Really like the DSG & wanted a usable (for adults) back seat. This is one of the "special builds": no fogs, sun package, 5-spoke wheels instead of the 16 spokers. Dealer was offering $1615 off MSRP to get some A3s out on the street, so I went for it. This is a great package right out of the box, but down the road, when the flash chips come out, that will be a distinct possibilty. Now for that exercise in restraint: the break in period.

Thanks for re-sizing that picture Big D. It shows off the car a lot better than the one I put in the thread starter. I'm very happy with my "special build"-- would much rather have the sunshades (will use a lot)than the fogs (probably would rarely use). It's a very satisfying car (could use more power, of course & a little less body roll). I've run it around on some bad road surfaces today & find the suspension compliant enough for really bumpy under-construction areas, yet firm enough to keep everything under control. I really like this car.

From that angle it ALMOST looks like an "M" Coupe.
