This was a clean installation by AWE Tuning. As I pulled into the lot to pick up the car,
I was very happy with the drop. Although the rear is sitting a bit lower than I expected.

What a difference. I have driven Sport A3s and own a Premium model. This kit has given me better handling than the Sport A3, by far.
<img src="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a279/iMryanmac/suspension/IMG_3084.jpg">
I love that the kit contains a specifically matched shock and spring set. It's designed to provide aggressive performance and sleek-styling in one, ready-to-go package.
The kit includes a specially developed progressive spring tuned explicitly for the A3 and then matched to custom valved performance sport shocks.

There were a few things that needed to be accomplished with this mod. I needed a stiffer suspension setup, but didn't want to effect the comfort level incredibly. The wheel gap was screaming at me, so drop was an issue. And I wanted to reduce understeer. I can "comfortably" say that this touring cup kit met my expectations.
You're looking to eliminate wheel gap and improve handling, and yet have good comfort, look no further. H&R Touring Cup Kit.

Specs:
18x8" R38, et42 offset from RONAL USA
225/40/18 tires.
No rubbing in the front. I discovered minor rubbing in the rear. After removing a bolt (pic) in the outer layer of the interior wheel well, the issue has been drastically reduced. I believe an offset of 45+ (more common on this vehicle) would eliminate any issues.

I let my gf drive the car last night on the way back from AWE. I did NOT tell her what was done. she thought I was asking for her input of the chipping and summer tires/wheels going back on.
First few minutes, honest to god. "Wow I love how your car turns, it's like a completely different car". Don't forget she drives her own premium A3, which is just like mine, well not JUST LIKE MINE
She also liked the pick up. But the point is, she noticed the handling, and she wasn't uncomfortable. And that is a great selling point right there.
I think I'll give her a rear sway bar for her birthday![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Guys, this kit is the touring cup kit, don't be shocked that the comfort is good. There are two cup kits from H&R, regular and touring.
The sport A3 handles ok, and looks decent. The base/premium A3 handles like crap and looks terrible, but is waaay more comfortable than the sport.
After installing this kit, it handles better than sport. Comfort is in between sport and premium - way closer to premium though. And it doesn't make you sea sick anymore! No more boating!

exhaust at some point in the near future. Any chance you could post some sound clips from the milltek? Can't seem to find any...
