Different tack entirely: put in a Peloquin or Quaife Limited slip so othat you don't have a one wheel drive car. If you've had the traction control hammer on, you know how un-fun that can be.

The downside is finding a shop that can handle the job (experience & special tools required) and that the factory warranty on the transmission is totally a goner. Oh, and the $2500 or so installed price.

But I've thought about it over and over, and limited slip is the one area where the A3 is really lacking. With that done, then the suspension, the chip and the catback will all matter because THEY'LL BE USABLE.
